This groundbreaking recognition marks the first time Billboard has bestowed this honor, underscoring Knowles’ profound impact both within the industry and beyond.
The Billboard Women in Music ceremony will take place live at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, on March 29, hosted by actress and advocate Laverne Cox. This year’s event highlights influential women artists, producers, and executives, including other honorees like Doechii, Erykah Badu, and Megan Moroney.
In addition to this significant honor, Tina Knowles is gearing up to embark on a high-profile book tour to celebrate the release of her memoir, aptly titled Matriarch, available April 22. Launching in Washington, D.C., on April 30, the tour promises unforgettable moments, notably featuring former First Lady Michelle Obama moderating the inaugural event. Knowles’ memoir tour will span nine cities, concluding in London on June 4.
