The streaming giant Spotify has officially removed several podcast episodes featuring controversial influencer Andrew Tate, citing policy violations. The decision follows growing backlash against Tate’s content, which has long been criticized for its misogynistic rhetoric and inflammatory messaging.

A Spotify spokesperson confirmed the removal, stating, “The content violated our policies,” though the company did not specify which rules were broken. The action comes after a change.org petition garnered over 100,000 signatures, urging the platform to take action against content promoting harmful ideologies.

While many of Tate’s podcast episodes have been scrubbed, some content remains available, raising questions about Spotify’s enforcement strategy. One remaining course titled “How to Get Girls FAST AND EASY” includes statements such as, “A woman who is understanding and kind and respects you does not exist unless you force her to be that way.”

Despite his widespread bans across multiple social media platforms in recent years, Tate has continued to push his message through alternative channels, sparking ongoing debate about the responsibility of platforms like Spotify in regulating controversial content.

Does Spotify’s move go far enough, or is it too little, too late?
