Kanye West, now known as Ye, continues to fuel controversy with a new claim about his upcoming album. On March 6, he took to social media to declare that his next project has “that antisemitic sound”—a statement that follows years of antisemitic rhetoric and troubling remarks.

“This next album got that antisemitic sound,” Ye posted. “My new sound called antisemitic.”

The Chicago rapper and producer has been teasing a new project titled Bully since early 2025, but it remains unclear if this statement is tied to its official rollout.

A Pattern of Harmful Rhetoric

Ye’s latest remarks add to an ongoing pattern of antisemitic statements that have damaged his career, leading to severed business ties and widespread backlash.

Last month, Ye made disturbing comments about Hitler, only to later walk back his statements, claiming he is not a Nazi.

In another bizarre X post on Thursday, he referenced lyrics from his 2004 track We Don’t Care:

“PEOPLE USED TO TELL ME BLACK RICH VOCAL PICK TWO OR THEY’LL KILL YOU KIIIIDS SING KIIIIDS SING JOKES ON YOU IM STILL ALIVE.”

Ye’s Diagnosis and Continued Controversy

Adding another layer to the conversation, Ye recently revealed in a February interview with Justin LaBoy that he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

“My wife took me because she said, ‘Something about your personality doesn’t feel like it’s bipolar, I’ve seen bipolar before,’” Ye explained. “And come to find out, it’s really a case of autism that I have.”

Meanwhile, reports continue to surface about Ye’s history of disturbing behavior. A former employee allegedly told CNN that Ye wanted to name his 2018 album after Hitler, claiming he would praise the dictator’s ability to accumulate power.

Will Bully Ever Be Released?

While Ye has hinted at the release of his Bully album for months, its status remains uncertain. Given his ongoing controversies and erratic behavior, it’s unclear whether the album will materialize or if Ye will once again derail his own career with inflammatory statements.

Just this week, Ye made headlines for his complicated relationship with Drake, posting on X that he wishes the OVO rapper would speak at his funeral.

“I SAW A VIDEO OF DRAKE WALKING THROUGH HIS HOUSE AND SHOWING HE HAD A LIBRARY OF RHYME BOOKS MAN I WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN AND REMEMBERED THIS WHEN MY JEALOUSY OVERTOOK ME. I LOVE DRAKE.”

What’s Next for Ye?

With Bully still up in the air, Ye remains one of the most polarizing figures in music—but at what cost? While his talent is undeniable, his controversies continue to overshadow his legacy, leaving fans and the industry questioning how much further he can go before his actions permanently erase his influence.
