Mumford & Sons have announced a last-minute free live show in London tonight (March 4) – find all the details below.
The band will perform at the 420-capacity Flat Iron Square on Southwark Street this evening, ahead of their 2025 intimate club tour kicking off in Amsterdam tomorrow (March 5).
Frontman Marcus Mumford shared the news on the group’s Instagram Stories earlier today. “London – Flat Iron Square at 7pm,” the singer-songwriter said in the video as he ran through a field. “Bye!”
The venue’s official Instagram account also shared the same clip, captioning it: “We love a secret gig… @mumfordandsons. SEE YOU TONIGHT 7PM.” No further information has been shared as of yet.

Mumford & Sons are set to release their fifth studio album ‘RUSHMERE’ on March 28 via Island/Glassnote (pre-order/pre-save here). The record, which follows 2018’s ‘Delta’, has already been previewed with the title track and the single ‘Malibu’.
‘RUSHMERE’ marks Mumford & Sons’ first LP as a trio, comprising Mumford, Ted Dwane and Ben Lovett. Banjoist Winston Marshall departed the group in 2021, after facing backlash for praising a book by right-wing US journalist Andy Ngo.
The record was co-produced by Mumford & Sons’ “legendary friend” Dave Cobb – who has previously worked with the likes of Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton and Slash.
The band’s imminent nine-date club tour includes a headline performance at the O2 Kentish Town Forum in London next Tuesday (March 11). Additionally, the trek features stops in Europe, Australia and North America.
