The long-standing beef between Joe Budden and Drake just took another turn. Drizzy posted a video of Budden on his finsta, and Joe wasted no time clapping back in the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast.
Joe Budden’s Response
Budden wasn’t feeling Drake’s petty move. The video, which shows Joe stepping out of a car smoking a cigarette while fans take pictures, was posted on Drake’s finsta account, plottttwistttttt. Joe had a lot to say about it:
“Drake, don’t shoot at me now that you ice cold,” Joe said. “I’m not doing a back and forth with a corpse.”
He continued, “I wanted to do it when you was lit, it was fun. Don’t go get shot all through the year and pop up like Bernie at Weekend at Bernie’s wanting to shoot at me now.”
But he didn’t stop there. Joe doubled down, daring Drake to respond musically instead:
“No, nia, go spit. Spin the fking block. Are you crazy?”
A Decade-Long Beef
Drake and Joe Budden have been taking shots at each other for almost a decade. The tension started when Joe publicly criticized Drake’s 2016 album Views, and since then, the two have exchanged jabs on social media and through music. With this latest move, it’s clear the animosity hasn’t faded.

Joe Budden might have hung up his mic, but he clearly hasn’t lost his trash-talking skills. Meanwhile, Drake has bigger battles brewing (cough Kendrick cough). But what do you think—
