On Monday night (February 10), Soulja Boy—aka Big Draco—took to X (Twitter) and went straight for Marlon’s neck, accusing him of selling his soul and calling him “not funny.”
“Marlon Wayans you a b#### and u not funny,” Soulja tweeted. “Shut up n#### keep selling ur soul and sucking the higher up d####.”
Marlon, never one to back down, fired back with his signature wit.
Where Did This Come From?
Nobody’s exactly sure why Soulja Boy woke up choosing violence, but there are a couple of theories. One likely trigger? Marlon Wayans recently commented on Soulja’s performance at a Crypto Ball celebrating Donald Trump’s inauguration.
“I mean Soulja, he been canceled,” Marlon said during an interview on 101.1 The Wiz. “Soulja Boy better go and get that check.”
Another theory? Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar. Soulja Boy has been vocal about his support for Kendrick, while Marlon has been backing Drake. Could the Super Bowl performance have played a part in this unexpected online war?
