Kendrick Lamar has delivered a fiery performance at the Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show – check it out below.

Today (February 10), Lamar hit the field at the New Orleans Superdome to perform for the Super Bowl Halftime Show, making him the first-ever solo rapper to headline the massive honour.

While he had previously confirmed that SZA would be joining him, Kendrick Lamar also brought along several major guest surprises, with Samuel L. Jackson narrating the rapper’s as Uncle Sam performance while Serena Williams made an appearance to dance.

 

Lamar kicked off his set with an unreleased verse before before transitioning to ‘Squabble Up’, ‘HUMBLE.’, ‘DNA.’ and ‘Euphoria’.

Throughout the set, Kendrick took several shots at Drake and even poked fun at the latter suing Universal Music Group for promoting ‘Not Like Us’. Hinting at ‘Not Like Us’, which was only played for a mere second, Kendrick quipped during the performance: “I want to play their favourite song but you know they like to sue”. Kendrick would eventually perform ‘Not Like Us’, though only after SZA joined him for ‘Luther’ and ‘All The Stars’.

To end off the set, Kendrick was joined by producer-DJ Mustard for ‘TV Off’.

Lamar has previously played the Halftime show, as a guest during Dr. Dre’s all-star set in 2022 – which also included appearances from Snoop DoggMary J. BligeEminem and 50 Cent.

Last year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show was headlined by Usher, who was joined on stage by Alicia KeysH.E.R. and Will.i.am. In 2023, Rihanna played a career-spanning set at the major eventHer slot would go on to become the most-watched Halftime Show in history.

In other news, last week saw Lamar win five awards at the Grammys 2025, including Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year for his Drake diss song ‘Not Like Us’. Drake’s dad has since responded, saying: “I don’t care enough about that shit.”

Kendrick Lamar surprise-released his sixth and latest album‘GNX’, last November. SZA features on the songs ‘Luther’ and ‘Gloria’.
