The drama between Jeannie Mai and Jeezy has hit another level, with newly released police bodycam footage capturing a tense exchange outside the rapper’s home.
On December 9, 2024, Jeannie arrived at the property she once shared with Jeezy, demanding access to retrieve her belongings. However, things took a turn when Jeezy’s house manager, backed by his legal team, refused to let her inside.
The Property Battle
Jeezy had already boxed up Jeannie’s belongings—including her Emmy award and personal clothing—and stored them in his garage. He also filed an emergency motion to prevent her from re-entering the home, but Jeannie showed up before the judge had ruled.
Feeling locked out, Jeannie called the police, arguing:
“I moved my whole life from Los Angeles to here. I also had a baby here. I lived in his house. I decorated this whole house. So, yes, I absolutely want to make sure that my things are taken with me.”
She added, “I deserve a walk-through because of the court order. I just want to make sure that my house that I know is coming with me. And so, it’s leaving with just his house being his. Does that make sense?”
The Police Report & Final Decision
With emotions running high, Jeannie asked the police to file an official report to present to the divorce judge. After much back-and-forth, she was finally allowed to enter the garage and retrieve her boxed belongings—but not the house itself.
In video footage obtained by In Touch, Jeezy’s house manager—on speakerphone with the rapper’s lawyer—stood firm, saying Jeannie was not permitted inside the home.
