Forza Horizon 5 is finally coming to PlayStation 5. After months of rumours and speculation that the game was ready to ship, Playground Games confirmed the news in January, and the game is coming in just a few short months.
Here are the exact details on the release window for the game and the extra content update launching alongside the PS5 version of the game.
‘Forza Horizon 5’ release date window
Forza Horizon 5 will release on PS5 in Spring 2025. This was announced on Twitter/X by the official Forza Horizon account. While no official release date was announced, we imagine this might arrive sometime in May/June, close to when Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to release.
An official date should be announced in the next few months as we lead up to the launch of the game. All the same content that is available in the Xbox and PC versions of the game will be in the PS5 version. However, the expansions and Car Packs will need to be purchased, as this isn’t a complete edition of the game in one package.
Hopefully the game will be PS5 Pro supported, delivering an even better-looking racer.
‘Forza Horizon 5’ Horizon Realms update
Forza Horizon 5‘s Horizon Realms update will be released on all platforms. It curates the best Evolving Worlds content and updates from throughout the last three years of support for the game.
Little is known about how much will be returning or what will be returning, but Playground Games has promised more information as we get closer to the release of the game on PS5. We’ll keep this section updated with new announcements as and when they are made.
