Public Image Ltd (PiL) have announced a headline show at Dreamland Margate as part of their 2025 UK and Ireland tour.
The post-punk band, fronted by former Sex Pistols vocalist John Lydon, announced their ‘This Is Not The Last Tour’ trek last November, before adding further dates the following month.
Now, it has been confirmed that PiL will also top the bill at Dreamland Margate in Kent on Tuesday June 24. The group are scheduled to perform at the 2,000-capacity Hall By The Sea venue in the seaside town.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am GMT this Friday (January 31) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale by signing up here before 10am GMT on Thursday (January 30).

This year’s Dreamland Margate series will also welcome the likes of The Libertines, Supergrass, Basement Jaxx, Madness and Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter.
PiL’s 11th and most recent studio album, ‘End Of World’, was released in 2023.
Lydon later said that he thought the group may not tour together again. This came after his lifelong friend and manager, John ‘Rambo’ Stevens, died suddenly following the last PiL tour, in December 2023. Lydon’s wife, Nora, also passed away that April.
In a previous statement, Lydon explained: “I thought that might be it. After losing Nora, and Rambo, I couldn’t see a way through.
“I’d already committed to the spoken word tour, this spring, and I never let anyone down – I always stick to my word – so I had to do those dates.”
He continued: “The thing is, people were so overwhelmingly positive, and they asked me to tour PiL again. With so many people asking and with the band meaning so much to them, I couldn’t just stay on my sofa and not tour – tempting though that obviously is.”
