Marvel Rivals has three different types of currency that you can use to purchase items, cosmetics, and more. Units are the most common of these currencies and also the most valuable, as they are used to buy most of the skins and bundles in the game. But Units aren’t easy to come by.
That is why we have a full breakdown of how you can earn them in various ways. It will still take a bit of time to earn them, however.
You can get Units in Marvel Rivals in the following ways:
- Unlock via the battle pass
- Complete Achievements
- Trade purchased Lattice for Units
The main way you will earn Units is through the battle pass. As you complete missions and daily challenges, you will earn Chrono Tokens, which can be spent on Units within the battle pass pages.
Additionally, if you click your profile picture in the top right, you can then move to the Achievements tab. Completing Achievements under the Heroic Journey tab will allow you to earn points towards your total score. Every 40 points you earn, you can get 100 Units, alongside a skin or two.
All of these achievements are focused on getting kills or assists with heroes in various ways, so do try to complete them as you are playing. Most will come naturally. However, they are a one-time reward.
Any Lattice that you purchase with real money can be converted into Units. These convert on a 1-1 scale, so 100 Lattice is 100 Units. This can be done by clicking on the Units icon on the top bar of the game’s menu. If you want to make a purchase and have some of each currency, you can also use both of them to buy a skin or bundle.
