Contemporary Ghanaian gospel singer, Noble Nketsiah has shared a harrowing experience he encountered in the entertainment industry due to his fame some years ago.

During an interview with Emelia Brobbey on the Okukuseku Show on Adom TV the crooner revealed that people in the gospel industry tried to poison him.

The talented artist behind the popular track, ‘Mmofra Yi’ recounted a time when he was in Obuasi, in the Ashanti Region, for a show and stopped by a radio station for an interview. Despite being accompanied by other gospel singers, he was the center of attention for callers, which sparked jealousy among his peers.

After the interview, the singer stated that he returned to his hotel room and ordered a meal. As he was getting ready for the event, he heard a disturbance outside. Upon investigating, he found out that a seemingly deranged individual had thrown his food on the floor. The unexpected turn of events made him suspicious, as he noticed a change in the color of his meal, leading him to believe that it had been tampered with. In a strange twist of fate, the actions of the mysterious stranger inadvertently saved him from a potentially fatal situation.

” I attended an event in Obuasi. Prior to the event, I participated in an interview where I garnered significant attention, resulting in callers specifically requesting to speak with me during the show. Furthermore, while at the radio station with fellow industry professionals, my colleagues became envious as the callers failed to acknowledge their presence.

“I went back to my hotel to prepare for the programme that made me travel to Obuasi. I ordered food before going to freshen up. I was in the bathroom when I heard noises in the hotel’s parlour. I went out to find out what was happening. Not knowing, a mentally ill person had entered the hotel and poured the food I ordered away. Amidst the commotion, the colour of my food changed. My food was poisoned,” he said.
