The singer has been hard at work preparing for her Worthy Farm headline slot, where she will take to the stage on Friday (June 26).

However, according to reports from The SunLipa’s preparations have been unexpectedly halted by the intrusion of a TikToker who broke into the Birmingham venue where she is currently rehearsing.

A source told The Sun: “Dua has been working so hard for the past few days to perfect her set for Glastonbury. Her team saw off this person when they arrived on site on Friday.”

The Sun declined to name the person who broke into rehearsals to avoid giving them attention, with the source continuing: “They made a total prat of themselves by trying to film and it was all rather embarrassing.

“Some of Dua’s team spoke to them and asked them to clear off. She was inside so luckily missed all the hullabaloo. Nothing is going to knock her off course this weekend. Dua can’t wait to show Glastonbury what she has been working on.” You can, however, watch a snippet of her performance filmed by fashion designer and friend, Giuliano Calza:

The gates to Glastonbury have just opened today, where over 200,000 festival-goers will be welcomed by a full bill of music, entertainment and much more up until the early hours of Monday morning (July 1).

In a first for the festival, Lipa and Coldplay’s headline slots will be the first to be streamed globally on BBC.com. Though Glasto sets are normally available to stream on the UK-based BBC iPlayer, fans from all over the world will be able tune in to listen to watch Lipa and Coldplay take over the Pyramid stage.

The ‘Houdini’ singer’s Friday night (June 28) headline performance will be available to watch from 10pm–11:45pm BST (5pm-6:45pm EST/11pm-12:45am CEST), while Coldplay’s performance on Saturday (June 29), can be streamed from 9:45pm–11:45pm BST (4:45pm-6:45pm EST/10:45pm-12:45am CEST).

Lipa has previously spoken about how headlining the festival was her “biggest dream”, adding: “I feel like I’m going to get teary talking about it. Glastonbury is just the festival, that one, I’ve loved going just as a fan. And to go up on that stage and perform…”

“It’s the first time I’ve said it out loud […] It’s all very surreal. Yeah, it’s just like… it’s my biggest dream. It’s headlining Glastonbury! On the Friday night! It’s real! When I’m in the studio and I’m writing, the first thought that comes into my mind is, ‘What is this going to sound like at Glastonbury?’”
