The forthcoming LP from the California punk rock band arrives on October 11 via Concord, and will mark the follow-up to their huge 2021 album ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’.
According to the band, the main priority this time around was to deliver the same feeling of energy and intensity that first put them on the map. It also sees them once again join forces with renowned producer Bob Rock.
Today (June 7), to celebrate the release, The Offspring have dropped the first taster of what to expect from the album in the form of lead single ‘Make It All Right’.
Like with what’s expected from the full album, the single delivers a hard punch of energy, as well as an explosive chorus and their signature punk rock riffs throughout. As for the inspiration behind the track, it sees the band explore what it feels like to have a “partner in crime” – someone who gives you confidence that everything will ultimately work out.
“No matter what I say/ You’re always there to give a smile/‘Just suck it up,’ you’ll say/ Say it only hurts for a while,” goes the opening verse. Check it out below.
“We wanted this record to have pure energy – from the start to the finish! That’s why we called it SUPERCHARGED. From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record…in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now,” said frontman Dexter Holland.
“Our single ‘Make It All Right’ is a great example of this because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right.”
He continued, going on to explain how the LP came together: “The album was recorded in three different locations this time around: Maui, Vancouver, and our home studio in Huntington Beach, and together with our producer Bob Rock everything came out awesome.
“I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded! We’ve been rocking out and head-banging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”

The announcement of new material from the pop-punk icons arrives just days before Holland and Co. head to Donnington for a performance at Download Festival.
Held on the main stage, the set will take place on the Saturday instalment (June 15), and will mark their first UK performance since last year’s headline slot at the Slam Dunk Festival.
It also follows the group performing a career-spanning set at Napa’s BottleRock Festival, where they surprised fans by bringing out Ed Sheeran as a special guest. Together, the two joined forces to deliver a rendition of ‘Million Miles Away’, taken from the band’s 2000 album ‘Conspiracy of One album’.
Before then, the group brought out another special guest while at the Starmus VII festival in Bratislava, Slovakia last month. During their set, the group were joined by Queen‘s Brian May for a performance of ‘Gone Away’ and ‘Stone Cold Crazy’.
