K-pop boyband Stray Kids have announced that they will collaborate with Charlie Puth on a brand-new single called ‘Lose My Breath’.
Stray Kids announced the song today (April 17) through their social media platforms. According to a press statement, per Sports Kyunghang, ‘Lose My Breath’ is described as a “warm-up” for an upcoming Korean album slated for release sometime this summer.
‘Lose My Breath’ will feature American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, marking the first collaboration project between the two artists. The single will be released on May 10 at 1pm KST/12am ET, alongside an accompanying music video.

‘Lose My Breath’ notably marks the first time Stray Kids are collaborating with a Western artist. Meanwhile, Puth previously worked with K-pop acts such as BTS’ Jungkook (‘Left and Right’ in 2022) and also gifted girl group BABYMONSTER the song ‘Like That’ for their recent debut mini-album.
Last month, Stray Kids were announced as one of nine headliners for this year’s instalment of Lollapalooza, slated to return to its home of Grant Park, Chicago from August 1 through 4. They will be the second K-pop act to headline Lollapalooza after Tomorrow X Together in 2023.
In other K-pop news, girl group ILLIT have scored their first Billboard Hot 100 entry with their viral debut single ‘Magnetic’, making it the only debut song by a K-pop act to do so. ‘Magnetic’ charted at Number 91, after going viral on TikTok.
