Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer” adds a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.
Also in the Hot 100’s top 10, Jack Harlow debuts at No. 2 with “Lovin on Me,” the most-streamed song of the week and his fifth career top 10, and Tate McRae climbs 11-8 with “Greedy,” her first song to reach the region.
The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. All charts (dated Nov. 25, 2023) will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Nov. 21). “Cruel Summer” drew 73.9 million radio airplay audience impressions (down 5%) and 14.4 million streams (up 4%) and sold 3,000 downloads (up 21%) in the Nov. 10-16 tracking week, according to Luminate.
The single scores a fifth week at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart; rises 8-5 on Streaming Songs, following a week at on top; and ascends 19-13 on Digital Song Sales, also after a week in charge.
As previously noted, “Cruel Summer” was originally released on Swift’s 2019 Republic Records album Lover before being promoted as a single and gaining new prominence as the superstar has performed it on her The Eras Tour this year.
Notably, across her 11 Hot 100 No. 1s, Swift has now led for 34 total weeks, tying for the ninth-best total, dating to the chart’s Aug. 4, 1958, inception.

Jack Harlow’s “Lovin on Me” enters the Hot 100 at No. 2, with 22.2 million streams, 12.2 million in radio audience and 12,000 sold, following its Nov. 10 release.
The track is Harlow’s fifth Hot 100 top 10, and top five hit, following “3D,” with Jung Kook (No. 5 peak, October); “First Class” (No. 1 for three weeks in 2022); “Industry Baby,” with Lil Nas X (No. 1, one week, 2021); and “Whats Poppin,” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne (No. 2, 2020).
Harlow becomes just the fourth artist to tally at least one new top five Hot 100 hit each year this decade, joining Doja Cat, Drake and Taylor Swift.
“Lovin on Me” launches at No. 1 on the all-genre Streaming Songs chart, where Harlow lands his third leader, after “First Class” (three weeks) and “Industry Baby” (two).
“Lovin on Me” concurrently debuts atop the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, which use the same methodology as the Hot 100. It’s likewise Harlow’s third No. 1 on each list; “First Class” and “Industry Baby” dominated Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for 10 and 18 weeks, respectively, and Hot Rap Songs for 14 and 19 weeks, respectively.
Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red” dips 2-3 on the Hot 100, after it led for three nonconsecutive weeks beginning in September, and SZA’s “Snooze” keeps comfy at No. 4, after reaching No. 2, as it rules the multi-metric Hot R&B Songs chart for a 16th week.
Swift’s “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) [From the Vault]” falls 3-5 on the Hot 100, two weeks after it soared in as her 11th No. 1; Zach Bryan’s “I Remember Everything,” featuring Kacey Musgraves, holds at No. 6, after it led for a week upon its debut in September, as it tops the multi-metric Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs charts for a 12th week each and Hot Country Songs for an eighth frame; and Luke Combs’ “Fast Car” rolls 8-7 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 2.
Tate McRae’s “Greedy” advances 11-8 on the Hot 100, with 39.1 million airplay audience impressions (up 35%), 13 million streams (up 3%) and 2,000 sold.
The singer-songwriter from Calgary, Alberta (she drives a Zamboni in the song’s official video), and now based in Los Angeles, achieves her first Hot 100 top 10; she posted a prior No. 17 best with her first entry, “You Broke Me First.,” in 2021. She also earns her first top 10 on Radio Songs, where “Greedy” surges 19-10.
“Greedy” is from McRae’s second LP, Think Later, due Dec. 8. Over the weekend, she performed for the first time on both NBC’s Saturday Night Live (Nov. 18) and the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (Nov. 19).
“I think what defines a pop star is how iconic [they are],” McRae muses in the latest Billboard cover story. “Madonna, Britney [Spears], Christina [Aguilera]; they would put on these shows and blow everybody away and make timeless art. And that’s what I want to do: make timeless art and timeless performances – and strive to keep on doing that.”
Rounding out the Hot 100’s top 10: Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” lifts 10-9, following 16 weeks at No. 1 beginning in March – the longest reign ever for a non-collaboration – and his “Thinkin’ Bout Me” slips 9-10, after hitting No. 7.
