Raphael Saadiq is stepping into the spotlight alone this spring, and he’s ready to deliver a show like no other. The R&B legend, known for his work with Tony! Toni! Toné!, Lucy Pearl, and countless solo hits, is bringing fans on a journey through three decades of music with his one-man tour, “No Bandwidth: One Man, One Night, Three Decades of Hits.”
This isn’t just a concert—it’s a personal invitation into Saadiq’s world.
“I’ve always wanted to do a one-man show,” he shared. “I want to challenge myself. My show has three acts—I’ll talk about my career, perform with a few instruments, sing my original music, and cover songs I wish I had written. I want it to feel magical, like a Broadway show.”
Saadiq’s setlist will draw from his iconic career, blending classics from Tony! Toni! Toné! and Lucy Pearl with solo hits and songs he’s written for artists like D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, and Beyoncé—including his recent Grammy-winning contributions to Cowboy Carter. Since the pandemic, Saadiq has also been studying piano and music theory, adding a new dimension to his live performances.
While fans may have hoped for more from Tony! Toni! Toné! after their 2023 reunion tour, Saadiq confirmed that there won’t be a new album.
“We all don’t feel the same about working on an album. I’m probably the only one who really wanted to make records,” he told Rolling Stone Music Now. But that hasn’t stopped him from pushing his solo career forward—and this tour is proof that his passion for music is stronger than ever.
