Samira Bawumia, the wife of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Ghanaians for the privilege of serving as the 6th and youngest Second Lady in Ghana’s 4th Republic.

“Thank you, Ghana, for the incredible honour to have served as the 6th and youngest Second Lady of the 4th Republic. I am deeply grateful for your support and particularly proud of the many lives I inspired and impacted throughout this tenure,” she wrote.
Mrs. Bawumia underscored her dedication to high-level advocacy, both on the global and local stage, and emphasized the joy she derived from everyday interactions with Ghanaians. She described the experience as a “great privilege and honour.”
