The highly anticipated December 2024 Nestlé Maggi Fufu Party concluded with a memorable celebration on Sunday, December 22, at the Gold Coast Restaurant in Accra.

The event united food lovers, families, alumni, and community members to celebrate the rich legacy of Ghanaian cuisine, focusing especially on fufu—one of the country’s most treasured dishes. The lively atmosphere, enhanced by live band performances and delicious food, left guests excited and full of energy.

Madam Deborah Kwablah, Coporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager for Nestle Ghana, said the Company was happy to celebrate and promote indigenous Ghanaian foods.

“Fufu is a very special meal for all of us, irrespective of where you come from in Ghana. What a better way to launch ourselves into the end-of-year celebrations than with the Fufu Party—cooking the goodness with Maggi. This event helps people gather and celebrate their achievements throughout the year,”

Participants left the event not only with satisfied appetites but also with exciting prizes.

The December edition followed the well-received Founder’s Day event in August, solidifying its place as a major highlight of the culinary calendar.

Magherita Amon, Category Development Executive, stated, “this event helps educate our consumers. Maggi is a well-known name in households, and events like this serve as a reminder to our friends in the diaspora that they can depend on Maggi for their cooking needs when they return home.”
