Rapper Pope Skinny has opened up about the end of his friendship with Shatta Wale, attributing it to immaturity and unfounded allegations.
Speaking on Property FM in Cape Coast, Pope Skinny shared that their issues began in 2018 and, with the perspective he has now, he wouldn’t have reacted the same way. “If my issues with Shatta Wale happened today, I wouldn’t utter a word,” he confessed. He explained that explaining himself too much at the time only escalated things, especially after Shatta Wale made hurtful allegations about him.
Reflecting on their past, Pope Skinny admitted that while they had serious fights and arguments, they had always resolved them amicably. However, the latest issues between them went too far, with both parties crossing lines. “We’ve had serious fights… but he went too deep, and I also did the same,” he said, indicating that both of them played a role in the fallout.
