Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has responded to criticism over her previous remarks about having multiple boyfriends before marrying her husband, Ned Nwoko.
In an Instagram post, Daniels clarified that her past relationships were purely platonic, addressing speculation about her personal life and aiming to set an example for young women.
The movie sensation sparked discussion after mentioning that she had “20 boyfriends” who supported her. However, she clarified that despite having male friends who were willing to help, she maintained boundaries, explaining, “Having several male/boyfriends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body.”
She emphasized that she remained committed to her decision to marry as a virgin, adding, “I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did! It’s a big flex.”
