Kwame Mickey and Team Eternity Ghana have reached a resolution regarding the recent copyright issue surrounding the trending song ‘Defe Defe‘.
The dispute, concerning the use of a portion of an existing song, Defe Defe by Hallelujah Voices in Team Eternity’s song of the same title, has been settled amicably.
In an official announcement to the gospel music industry and the public, both parties revealed they have entered into a Licence Agreement.

This agreement grants TEG the non-exclusive right to use specific words derived from Kwame Mickey’s song in their own rendition.
The resolution underscores how honouring intellectual property rights is essential to the continuous growth of the Ghanaian music industry.
