Ghanaian hip-hop/Hiplife artiste, Kweku Flick has stated that as long as his colleague rapper doesn’t disrespect his mother, he doesn’t mind rap “beef” against him or her.
The singer claims that if someone disrespects his mother, whom he holds in the highest regard, he will visit the artiste and give them a severe beating.
Kweku Flick, whose real name is Andy Osei Sarfo, is credited for helping to establish the Asakaa drill genre in Ghana.
On the Gh Highlife program with Ohemaa Acheampomaa on Onua FM, Kweku Flick made this claim stating,”If you insult me, I will not mind you, but if you extend it to my mom, then you’ve crossed the line. I will come to your house and beat you.
“I don’t want to have troubles with the police, so I will neither injure you nor kill you. But be rest assured I will beat you, I will whip you like a student being disciplined by his teacher,” he said.
The ‘Money’ hitmaker revealed that fame has made him rescind his wayward character because he acknowledges that a lot of young people look up to him.
“Sometimes I’m tempted to revert to my old ways. To be frank, I was very stubborn and even a bully in school. I was a stubborn boy, but fame has changed me. I realized that many young people look up to me, which prompted the change, he concluded.
